Since completing her Bachelor of Economics in 1986, Heather has gained over 20 years’ experience in organisational development and Human Resource management in both public, private and not for profit sectors in Western Australia, the Eastern States and in the United Kingdom. Heather has also expanded her skills to include a practitioner certificate in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, an MBTI® accreditation and a Graduate Diploma in Ontological Coaching.

Heather’s experience ranges from and includes: strategic HR management; organisational development; recruitment and selection; induction; staff development; industrial relations management and troubleshooting; process engineering; performance management; and qualified training and coaching.
Heather has grown her experience and skills through working in a cross-section of industries including: hospitality; project engineering; building and construction; mining and mining services; native title; science and education; financial services; the employee benefits/financial services; and the information technology industries.
Heather originally established WCA in 2000 to provide advice in the area of Industrial Relations and Workplace Agreements. The organisation has since grown in profit and size through repeat business and referrals and now includes a staff of six who work from both WCA offices and client sites, according to individual client requirements.
Heather is currently Deputy Chair of Scotch College Council and a member of the State Leadership Group of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF WA) and has previously served on the Board of a number of other not-for profit organisations.
