She has significant experience as a HR generalist with a proven ability to deliver efficient and effective operational and strategic HR service and advice to key stakeholders and managers within any business – this was most evident in her role as HR Manager for DORIC Constructions where she was responsible for providing HR support to over 200 employees and 11 Senior Managers across the business.
Mindy has also extended her experience across various industries beyond construction and engineering, these include production/manufacturing, agriculture, community services, not-for-profit and oil and gas. As an HR Consultant, Mindy has worked with key business leaders to identify, develop and implement strategic HR projects which support business objectives. She has also successfully delivered such projects, taking a ‘hands-on’ approach and providing end to end project management. Over the last few years, Mindy has supported the likes of AMEC Minproc, BP Refinery (Kwinana), and JAXON Construction.
In addition to a strong knowledge and experience in the areas of recruitment, selection and retention, talent management, workforce planning, HR information systems and HR reporting, Mindy has developed a specific area of expertise in the area of employment law. This extends to unfair dismissals, EEO (discrimination, bullying and harassment), employment contracts, awards and EBAs and minimum conditions of employment.
Mindy joined WCA in 2016 as a Senior Consultant and provides quality support and guidance to our clients on a broad-range of HR and IR issues.
