Annika has over 10 years’ Human Resource management and resourcing experience in mining, mining services and financial services with a degree in Commerce and Arts.
She has extensive experience as a leader and HR specialist. As HR Manager at Newcrest Mining, Annika was responsible for the Telfer HR function in addition to management of the village, airport and training. With a team of 120 employees and contractors, and a senior role on the site leadership team, Annika had a strong focus on aligning people and performance programs with strategic objectives.
Annika has significant experience in the successful design and implementation of large change management projects. Having specialised in workforce planning and organisational design, Annika has worked on both Australian and international projects to improve operational efficiency, expand and contract business units and improve costs. Annika has managed and implemented these projects with a logical and planned approach recognising strong communication were key to maintaining high levels of employee engagement and integral to the success of these projects.
Annika also has broad HR generalist experience in performance management; performance improvement; talent management; remuneration and benefits; coaching; remuneration benchmarking; industrial relations; attraction and retention strategies; leadership development programs; culture and values; policies and procedures; HR reporting and training and development. With an analytical approach to Human Resources, Annika is dedicated to identifying improvement opportunities aligned with business strategy and maximising productivity.
Annika joined WCA in early 2018 as a Senior Consultant. She identifies and delivers key strategic human resource objectives with WCA clients including Perth Markets Limited, PLC and Talis Consultants.
