Summary
Hannah began working at
WCA whilst completing her Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science at
Curtin University after working in her gap year and throughout her 5 year
degree. Prior to joining WCA, Hannah was employed by Scitech as a Human
Resources Officer.
In her recent HR roles,
Hannah has gained specific HR experience in:
Conducting recruitment and selection for a wide
range of roles including: writing job advertisements; screening applicants; conducting
telephone interviews; and completing pre-employment checks.
Preparing job descriptions to incorporate
objectives and measures (KPIs) for the role in order to meet organisational
requirements.
Liaising with clients, internal stakeholders and
Fair Work Australia to provide advice and information in relation to the Fair
Work Act, Modern Awards, and National Employment Standard entitlements.
Conducting HR audits including reviewing
documentation to ensure compliance with Fair Work Act and alignment with best
practice
Developing policies and procedures in accordance
with the Fair Work Act
Preparing employment contracts and employment
packs
Assisting in the preparation of customised
client training and development workshops
Developing new employee on-boarding and
induction program
Prior to commencing with
Scitech in June 2018, Hannah had extensive experience as a Membership
Administrator for the Perth Wildcats and both Sampler and Weighbridge Operator
for CBH Group. In these roles, Hannah developed strong communication,
relationship management and administrative skills. Hannah also worked as a
temporary Administrator for a resources company where she gained insight into
the Mining Industry.
