Professional Career Summary

Peter holds an Associate Diploma in Business (Training & Development) from the University of South Australia and a PostGraduate Diploma in Business (HR Management) from Curtin University. In addition, he has successfully completed the Management Development Programme at the Australian Management College Mount Eliza (now Mount Eliza Melbourne Business School), and was awarded the Company Directors Course Diploma in 1998 by the Australian Institute of Company Directors/University of Sydney Graduate School of Business.
Peter has some 40 years’ experience in a wide range of Human Resource management and business consulting functions. He has consulted to the financial services/insurance, not-for-profit, resources, energy, agri-business, professional services, information technology, education, government and general commercial sectors. He has worked for a number of national and multinational organisations across several Australian States and additionally spent 5 years working for an Australian company in Papua New Guinea.
He also spent some time working in the management consulting division of the international business advisory firm Ernst & Young. He has presented papers at seminars and conferences, both in Australia and overseas, as well as undertaken consulting assignments in Asia.
In addition to his Human Resource Management experience, Peter has had significant line management experience, with extensive profit centre and staff responsibilities.
