Tjiwarl Aboriginal Corporation Strategy Development

WCA Solutions was engaged by Tjiwarl Aboriginal Corporation to facilitate its 2040 Vision and 3-Year Strategic Plan.

WCA Solutions, Directors Bernard & Debbie Mackin facilitated four-full-day sessions with the Board of Directors and CEO to develop their strategic plan and review and refresh their sustainability framework.

The process was tailored and the sessions were meticulously planned with several days of preparation by WCA Solutions to ensure our facilitators had comprehensive knowledge of the Corporations history, challenges and opportunities.

WCA Solutions captured the outputs of the sessions and provided Tjiwarl Aboriginal Corporation a detailed plan in their words, outlining the reasons (“why”), goals (“what”), and strategies (“how”) needed to achieve their 2040 Vision. WCA Solutions facilitated and captured the outputs to create a detailed 3-Year strategic plan and a practical action plan, explaining what needs to be done, how it will be done, who will be involved, and when each milestone will be achieved.

The final deliverables included the 2040 Vision, 3-Year Strategic Plan, 1-Year Action Plan, Decision Framework and a Strategic Plan Booklet. The Strategic Plan Booklet to enable the Board of Directors to socialise, gain feedback and support from the 11 families of the Tjiwarl mob.

WCA Solutions’ facilitation approach ensured that the Tjiwarl Aboriginal Corporation’s strategic plan is an adaptable framework that can evolve with the changing needs of the Tjiwarl people.  The collaboration between WCA Solutions and the Tjiwarl Aboriginal Corporation reflected a commitment to country, health, education, law, culture, healing and sustainability for the future generations of the Tjiwarl mob.
