WCA was initially engaged by inner city taxation specialists and business advisors in 2008 to develop and facilitate a corporate retreat for the full team of 12 staff.

A strong partnership developed and since this time WCA has continued to develop and deliver an annual program for the firm of now approximately 40 staff, each year for all subsequent years.

The annual program has always centred on customised coaching and development for staff and WCA has enjoyed supporting staff growth and progression of many graduate Accountants to successfully take on key senior management roles within the firm.

The firm’s coaching and development program has typically included:

  • Development and facilitation of targeted individual or small group leadership development activities in communication, delegation, and performance management;
  • Support and guidance to leadership group initiatives;
  • Preparation and facilitation of an annual retreat workshop; and
  • Facilitation of bi-annual all staff goalsetting and coaching meetings up until 2020.

In addition, WCA has provided ad-hoc support in HR and IR advice for Directors and management including: regular remuneration benchmarking; review and development of various policy and procedure; and advice in relation to legislative and regulatory compliance.

WCA continues to enjoy a close relationship with the firm and deliver coaching and training initiatives through the current annual program.
